![]() We have had this desert in New Orleans and know what the Flavors should be. If this is their signature desert, they need to work on it. ![]() The preparation show was very good, but once again very bland. For the price of this entree I was very disappointed with the portion. The Filet was tender with no real flavor, the Andouille Sausage was good, but an extremely small portion, and the Shrimp, while the looked seasoned tasted dull. Beef Short Ribs can be a bit string, but since they are slow cooked, they should never be tough. My wife had the Beef Short Ribs, it had very little flavor, was stringy and tough. The explanation is that they were put on two tickets. But the worst part was they brought hers without mine. Our entrees came before my wife and finished with her salad, very poor pacing. ![]() The soup was a bit sweet for my taste, my wife did enjoy her salad. Ironically the bread and the soup and salad came together. It was at that point she said I will get you some bread until your stuff is ready. When we asked her she said everything was running about a half hour. It took well over 30 minutes to get them. My wife started with the Eddie Merlot Salad and I the French Onion Soup. After about 10 minutes she came to take our order. Once we got seated our waitress Brandi came over and introduced herself. Normally that would be an issue, but we understood because of the day it was. We arrived few minutes early for our 6:45 reservation and were told it would be about 15 minutes for a table. That is why I made a reservation for Valentine's Dinner. The last time we were here we enjoyed it very much.
